The AES-VCM Mong Duong Power Company in collaboration with the Quang Ninh Society for Disadvantaged Children handed over 170 scholarships, worth VND1.2 million (US$51.5) each, to children from low-income families in Cam Pha City on Wednesday.
AES-VCM Mong Duong Power Company Limited (AES Mong Duong) on March 12
announced that the 621MW unit 1 of Mong Duong II power project began
commercial operations on March 4.
The capital city ranked first in the nation in attracting investment
from European Union countries, with 357 projects worth US$3 billion,
according to the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA).
